Privacy Policy

Rosebud LLC ("Rosebud," "we," "us") runs this website. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email us at kayla@rosebudinsider.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist
We collect your email address, the color you're interested in, whether you'd like Rosebud news and launch updates, and the date you signed up. If you arrived through one of our links (for example, from TikTok or Instagram), we also note which one.

When you place an order
Our checkout is run by our payment provider. To process your order, they collect your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and payment details. Rosebud never sees or stores your full card number.

When you browse the site
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, such as which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, what device they use, and which link brought them here. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. Our site also saves a small note in your browser that remembers which of our links you arrived from, so your waitlist signup is credited to the right place.

When you read the Journal
Our Journal shows posts from our Substack. Post images load from Substack, and the subscribe box on that page is provided by Substack. If you subscribe there, Substack's privacy policy applies.

How we use your information

• To save your place on the waitlist and send you your private link when orders open.
• To process, ship and support your order.
• To send Rosebud news and launch updates, but only if you've opted in.
• To understand which posts and channels bring people to Rosebud, so we can make better things and spend our time wisely.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

Emails

If you join the waitlist, we'll email you about your spot and when you can order. If you opted in to news and updates, you'll also get emails about new releases and behind-the-scenes stories. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. If you place an order, you'll get order and shipping emails no matter what, because they're about your purchase.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Rosebud, such as our website host, checkout and payment provider, email provider, and analytics provider. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect Rosebud and our customers from fraud.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, you can use Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need it. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email kayla@rosebudinsider.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, and we'll honor those requests too.

Keeping it safe

Access to waitlist and customer information is limited to Rosebud's founder and protected with email-verified sign-in. Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

Rosebud is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll let waitlist members and customers know by email.
